There is so much going on along the Yonge Street strip and we love being a part of it.
One of the many exciting condo projects is Five Condominium at 5 St Joseph Street, conveniently located between Yonge Street and Bay Street and a short walk to the subway station.
Heritage architect Michael McClelland feels that Five Condos at 5 St. Joseph will set a new standard for future development along the bustling Yonge Street strip.
Part of what makes this space unique is that it is preserving a stretch of 19th century buildings on Yonge Street, plus the 1905 gothic revival brick face of an old warehouse on St Joseph Street.
Five Condos will combine five brick buildings along Yonge that date back to the 1870s. The refurbished structures will house new stores, and will be home to 14 residential units on the second and third floors.
Five Condos’ inclusion of heritage elements has given it a competitive edge, helping the building to stand out in Toronto’s very crowded condo market.
Five Condos is home to suites that range from 600 sq. ft. one-bedrooms to 1,700 sq. ft. two bedroom + penthouses, and ranging from $400,000 to $1.3 million. And most of them sold quickly.
Completed in 2015, Five Condos boasts 539 suites on 48 floors, many with spectacular views of Toronto.
This beautiful addition to the Toronto skyline is full of amenities for owners and residents including: community barbecues, concierge, fitness facilities, games room, garden, multimedia room, music room, events room, sauna, security system and steam room.

In September 2016, eight condo suites at Five Condominium, TSCC 2516, were sold via Toronto’s MLS system.
On a very low floor at 5 St Joseph Street, a one bedroom suite was sold for $393,000. This unit faced south east and did not come with locker or parking.
About half way up the Five Condo building, a one bedroom with southern exposure sold for $445,000. This suite was about 615 square feet.
A few floors higher at 5 St Joseph, a one bedroom plus den unit was sold for $548,000. No locker and no parking came with this suite on the southwest corner.
Still a few floors higher than that, another one bedroom plus den suite was sold for $585,000. This suite was 713 square feet and faced northwest.
On a very low floor at Five Condominium, a one bedroom plus den suite was sold for $588,000. This selling price included a parking spot but no locker.
About mid way up the 5 St Joseph condo tower, a one bedroom plus den unit sold for $585,000. This suite was about 713 square feet and faced northwest. The sale included a storage locker but no parking spot.
On a high floor at Five Condos, a one bedroom plus den suite sold for $628,800. This luxury suite was also about 713 square feet and came with locker and an underground parking spot.
About midway up the 5 St Joseph condo building, a one bedroom plus den suite sold for $665,000. This unit had two full bathrooms and the sale included locker and parking.
And a sub penthouse suite at Five Condominium sold for $1,470,000. This gorgeous unit was about 1680 square feet and included two parking spots.
