E01 Toronto Real Estate Statistics October 2015

The month of October 2015 was an active month for those buying and selling an freehold house in the E01 real estate zone in Toronto.

This real estate zone is comprised of the neighbourhoods of Blake-Jones, Greenwood-Coxwell, North Riverdale and South Riverdale.

The boundaries are, from east to west: Coxwell Avenue to the DVP and south of Danforth Avenue.

There were 57 successful real estate sales of freehold homes according to the MLS system.

The most expensive house sold was for $2,150,000 on Logan Avenue (it was only listed for $1,699,000) and resulted in a sale price of 27% more than the asking price.

Other streets in this area that saw houses selling for more than one million dollars during October 2015 were Cavell Avenue ($1,761,000), Langley Avenue ($1,649,000), Gerrard Street East ($1,380,000), Austin Avenue ($1,275,000), Queen Street East ($1,200,000), Millbrook Crescent ($1,150,000), Leslie Street ($1,106,000), Hampton Avenue ($1,079,000), West Avenue ($1,060,000), Woodfield Road ($1,040,000), Withrow Avenue ($1,010,000) and Hastings Avenue ($1,000,081).

The least expensive streets in this Toronto real estate zone with houses selling for less than $600,000 were Coxwell Avenue, Dundas Street East, Hiltz Avenue and Rhodes Avenue.

The average selling price of a house in Toronto’s E01 real estate zone was $882,192 during the month of October. The average time it took to sell a house was 11 days on the market.

Most houses sold in this area were semi-detached houses (32 of them). Only 16 of the homes sold were fully detached houses.

Real estate sales were most active in South Riverdale (24 sales), followed by Greenwood-Coxwell (18 sales), North Riverdale (12 sales) and Blake-Jones (3 sales).

Some of the busier streets for real estate buying and selling were Coady Avenue, Coxwell Avenue, De Grassi Street, Hampton Avenue, Highfield Road, Jones Avenue, Queen Street East, Rhodes Avenue, Withrow Avenue and Woodfield Road.
