While there is certainly a large amount of properties sold in the spring, for the past few years it really hasn’t been necessary to wait for any one time to list your home for sale. In April 2013, 101 properties were sold with an average selling price of $639,694. It took an average of 10 days to sell.
In April 2011, 98 properties were sold at an average of $603,250 in 10 days.
In April 2009, 84 properties were sold at an average of $431,648.
In April 2007, 119 houses for sale sold for an average of $401,022.
That’s a 208 percent increase in average neighbourhood property values for the E01 real estate zone in Toronto for the past 8 years.
