Now, as for selling prices of houses in Ajax, let’s zero in on the month of January 2015.
The usually slow month of January 2015 saw an active month for those selling a house in Ajax.
There were 67 successful real estate sales according to the MLS system.
The most expensive property sold was for $3,400,000 for a 58 acre property in northeast Ajax. Fielding Court was home to the second most expensive house sold. That Ajax selling price was $1,125,000 for a large 4 bedroom home. Tied for third place at $740,000 were houses sold on Audley Road and Bellinger Drive.
The least expensive houses sold were found on Edward Street, Beech Street, Burcher Road, Rossland Road, Reed Drive, Dooley Crescent, Roosevelt Avenue, Kirkham Drive, Swanston Crescent, Greenhalf Drive, Plumridge Court, Clements Road, Hemans Court, Westray Crescent, Shoal Point Road, Barnham Street and Silverwood Circle. All of these houses were sold for less than $400,000.
The average selling price of a house in Ajax was $532,048. Most houses had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The average time it took to sell a house in Ajax was 20 days on the market.
53 of the houses sold in Ajax were detached, 8 houses sold in Ajax were row houses or town houses, 1 was linked and 5 were semi-detached houses in Ajax.
Real estate sales in Ajax were most active in Southeast Ajax and Central Ajax, followed by Northeast Ajax and Central West Ajax.
Some of the busier streets for real estate transactions in Ajax during the month of January 2015 were Warnford Circle, Tansley Crescent, Handley Crescent, and Audley Road.
