Property values for condos at 35 Balmuto Street, The Uptown Condominium in downtown Toronto

Balmuto Street has undergone tremendous change with the arrival of two very different condo towers. Just steps from the Manulife Centre and all the best of Yorkville and Bloor Street’s so-called Mink Mile of shopping, resale condos on Balmuto Street have done very well.
Let’s zero in and take a closer look at actual selling prices and property values at 35 Balmuto Street. These sales occurred in June 2016.
A south facing one bedroom suite on a very low floor sold for $409,000. This 35 Balmuto Street condo unit was less than 600 square feet and the sale included a storage locker.
Midway up the Uptown Condo building in Toronto’s Yorkville real estate zone, a two bedroom, two bathroom east facing condominium suite sold for $587,000. This selling price included a storage locker and a parking spot.
Halfway up the 35 Balmuto condo tower, another two bedroom, two bathroom suite was sold for $599,000. This sale included an underground parking spot and a storage locker. This suite faced east. And nearby, another nearly identical suite sold for $641,800.
On a lower floor, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo suite at Uptown Residences sold for $697,800. This sale included a locker and a parking spot at 35 Balumto Street.
And also on the bottom half of 35 Balmuto Street, a two bedroom, two bathroom suite sold for $724,000. This suite was about 853 square feet and came with a storage locker and a parking spot. The monthly condo fee for this unit was $884.00.
