The month of January 2016 saw a relatively busy month for those selling a house in Ajax.

There were 75 successful real estate sales according to the MLS system for January 2016.
The most expensive house sold was for $1,018,500 in Southeast Ajax. The second most expensive house sold was $865,000 in Northeast Ajax for a 2-storey four bedroom home. The streets with the most expensive sales were found on Nobbs Drive, Haskell Avenue, Stammers Drive, Keith-Wright Crescent, Searell Avenue, Coomer Crescent, Bonner Crescent, Oswell Drive and Beachview Street.
The least expensive houses sold were found on Elm Street, Billingsgate Crescent, Bondsmith Street, Twigg Drive, Doyle Court, Andrea Road, Smales Drive and Rossland Road East. All of these houses were sold for less than $400,000.
The average selling price of a house in Ajax was $530,018. Most houses had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The average time it took to sell a house in Ajax was 18 days on the market.
53 of the houses sold in Ajax were detached, 12 houses sold in Ajax were row houses or town houses, 3 were linked and 7 were semi-detached houses in Ajax.
Real estate sales in Ajax were most active in Southeast Ajax and Central Ajax, followed by Northwest Ajax and Central West Ajax.
Some of the busier streets for real estate transactions in Ajax during the month of January 2016 were Audley Road South, Nobbs Drive, Patterson Crescent, Ravenscroft Road, Reed Drive, Rossland Road East and Westray Crescent.
