Let’s take a closer look at the increasingly valuable real estate zone of Highbush in Pickering for the months of October, November and December 2015.
Located north of Twyn Rivers Drive, and roughly in between the border with Toronto and Altona Road, this area saw 15 homes sold in the final three months of 2015.
The average selling price in Highbush during this period was $640,100.
One year prior, the average selling price for the same period was $586,500. A nice rise in property values for this beautiful area of Pickering.
During October, November and December 2015, it took an average of 18 days on market for Pickering realtors to sell those houses.
9 houses sold in Highbush during this time were detached and 2 were semi-detached.
The most expensive house sold was a 4 bedroom detached house for $1,309,000.
The lowest selling price for houses in Pickering’s Highbush neighbourhood was $408,000 for a 3-storey rowhouse.
During these final weeks of 2015, houses were sold on Altona Road, Calvington Drive, Hummingbird Court, Lancrest Street, Lawson Street, Nordane Drive, Rouge Forest Crescent, Valley Ridge Crescent, Waterford Gate, White Pine Crescent and Woodview Avenue. Many, many beautiful streets here.
