Now, let’s zero in on the month of March, 2015.

The month of March 2015 saw an active month for those selling a house in Ajax, Ontario.

There were 186 successful real estate sales according to the MLS system for freehold homes.

The most expensive property sold was for $1,070,000 for a beautiful 5 bedroom detached house in South East Ajax. Following that, there were multiple house sales over $700,000 and $800,000. Those Ajax houses were sold Audley Road North, Leah Crescent, Westney Road North, Grigglestone Lane, Annie Crescent, Halliday Street, Selby Drive, Weston Crescent, Gillet Drive, Bellotti Crescent, Chant Crescent and Morden Crescent.

The least expensive houses sold were found on Linnell Street, Kings Crescent, Windsor Avenue, Beech Street, Exeter Road, Thornharold Street, Medley Lane, Delaney Drive, Webbford Street and Radford Drive. All of these Ajax, Ontario houses were sold for $350,000 or less. Clearly there are still some great options for buyers in Durham Region to find houses under $400,000 in Ajax.

The average selling price of a house in Ajax was $503,955. Most houses had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The average time it took to sell a house in Ajax was 11 days on the market during the month of March 2015.

138 of the houses sold in Ajax were detached, 32 houses sold in Ajax were row houses or town houses, 1 was linked and 14 were semi-detached houses in Ajax.

Real estate sales in Ajax were most active in Northwest Ajax, Northeast Ajax and Central West Ajax.

Some of the busier streets for real estate transactions in Ajax during the month of March 2015 were Andrea Road, Angus Drive, Audley Road, Barnes Drive, Delaney Drive, Dent Street, Dreyer Drive, Forest Road, Harper Hill Drive, Haskell Avenue, Humphrey Drive, Lilley Avenue, McNichol Crescent, Middlecote Drive, Perdue Avenue, Radford Drive, Ravenscroft Road, Root Crescent, Tozer Crescent, Tulloch Drive, Whitlock Crescent and Windsor Avenue and Windsor Drive.
