The second half of the month of May 2015 saw an active month for those selling their homes in Ajax, Ontario.

There were 93 successful real estate sales according to the MLS system for freehold homes.

The most expensive property sold was for $863,000 for a beautiful detached house with about 4000 square feet of space in northeast Ajax. Following that, there were multiple house sales over $700,000 and $800,000. Those Ajax houses were sold on Poplar Avenue, Stockell Crescent, Alden Square, Kearney Drive, Roberson Drive, Solway Crescent, Parkes Drive and Snowling Drive.

The least expensive houses sold were found on York Street, Medley Lane, Tresher Court, Pendrill Way, Cooperage Lane, Beech Street, Nelson Avenue and Burcher Road.

All of these Ajax, Ontario houses were sold for $350,000 or less.

Clearly, there are still some great options for buyers in Durham Region to find houses under $400,000 in Ajax.

The average selling price of a house in Ajax during this period was $510,069. Most houses had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The average time it took to sell a house in Ajax was 13 days on the market during the second half of May 2015.

62 of the houses sold in Ajax were detached, 14 houses sold in Ajax were row houses or town houses, 3 were linked and 12 were semi-detached houses in Ajax.

Real estate sales in Ajax were most active in Northwest Ajax, Northeast Ajax and Central West Ajax.

Some of the busier streets for real estate transactions in Ajax during the second half of May 2015 were Armitage Crescent, Boyd Crescent, Hornett Way, Humphrey Drive, Medley Lane, Sullivan Drive and Todhunter Crescent.
