The second half of the month of July 2015 proved a popular month for those selling a house in Ajax, Ontario.

There were 101 successful real estate sales according to the MLS system for freehold homes.

The most expensive property sold was for $1,057,000 for a magnificent century home in central west Ajax. Following that, there were multiple house sales over $700,000 and $800,000. Those Ajax houses were sold on Muscat Crescent, Crane Crescent, Todd Road, Seggar Avenue, Weston Crescent, Bignell Crescent, Goodhart Crescent, Pickett Street, Rushworth Drive, Williamson Drive and Montebello Crescent.

The least expensive houses sold were found on Lucas Lane, Linnell Street, Tudor Avenue, Billingsgate Crescent, Cooperage Lane, Banner Crescent, Cullcastle Street, Lincoln Street, Heron Street, Blunden Road, McRae Road, Emperor Street, Beadle Drive, Barnes Drive and Finley Avenue.

All of these Ajax, Ontario houses were sold for $400,000 or less.

Clearly there are still some great options for buyers in Durham Region to find houses under $400,000 in Ajax.

The average selling price of a house in Ajax during this period was $506,239. Most houses had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The average time it took to sell a house in Ajax was 12 days on the market during the second half of July 2015.

66 of the houses sold in Ajax were detached, 17 houses sold in Ajax were row houses or town houses, 4 were linked and 13 were semi-detached houses in Ajax.

Real estate sales in Ajax were most active in Northeast Ajax, Southeast Ajax and Central Ajax.

Some of the busier streets for real estate transactions in Ajax during the second half of July 2015 were Barnes Drive, Cooperage Lane, Cullcastle Street, Decourcey Ireland Circle, Root Crescent, Rossland Road East, Tawn Crescent, Walker Crescent and Williamson Drive.
