One of the many excellent condo buildings in the Bloor Yorkville area is 85 Bloor Street East. This building is very well maintained and is ideally located in the beautifully cared for Bloor Street East stretch, just a few steps from the Yonge Bloor subway station. Longos Grocery and underground subway access and shopping at The Hudson Bay Centre is conveniently across the street.

Completed in 2004, this 20-storey building has approximately 252 suites. The Weir Team has many happy clients who are investors and owners at 85 Bloor Street East. It will be interesting to watch how property values change along this wonderful stretch of Bloor once the brand new 1 Bloor East condo tower is completed.

Let’s zero in now on actual selling prices at 85 Bloor Street East. Remember there are all sorts of factors that determine the value of each suite, including exposure, floor level and exact square footage.

In April and May 2016, six suites were sold at 85 Bloor Street East.

A small one bedroom suite on a low floor sold for $362,000. The suite did not include locker or parking. The monthly condo fee was $324.25.

On a much higher floor, another one bedrom suite was sold at 85 Bloor Street East for $369,000. It also did not come with locker or parking.

A one bedroom plus den suite was sold on a very low floor for $419,000. This 85 Bloor condo suite came with an owned parking spot and storage locker.

On a higher floor at 85 Bloor St E a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite was sold for $590,000. This unit was about 890 square feet and included a storage locker and underground parking spot.

A beautifully renovated condo unit was sold for $629,000. This large suite, converted from a 2 bedroom to a 1+1 was on a high floor and included a storage locker and parking spot.

And a penthouse suite sold for $730,000 at 85 Bloor Street East. This condo came with 2 parking spots and, 2 lockers and 2 balconies.
